Program Description

The Nebraska ANA Spring Meeting offers practicing CRNA's an opportunity to update and reinforce clinical knowledge in several important aspects of anesthesia practice. The seminar begins Friday Evening with didactic lectures focusing on the Prevention of Fires in the Operating Room, Awareness of Common Drug Errors, Managing Allergy and Anaphylaxis and Perioperative Care of the Asthmatic Patient. The Saturday morning session is devoted to clinical discussions of problems associated with the Elderly Patient, and the role of the CRNA in Plastic Surgery Procedures. The program continues with more clinical discussions concerning Bariatric Surgery, Antibiotic Prophylaxis, GERD and Aspiration, and Anesthesia for Patients with Pulmonary Disease.

On Sunday morning, the focus will shift to discussions of Ventilation Modalities, Anesthesia for Lung Surgery, Identifying EKG changes that should cause concern, and Managin g Intraoperative Cardiovascular Crises.

Ample time is provided for questions and discussion.

Refund Policy

If you must cancel, a full refund less $150.00 application processing fee may be obtained until April 5, 2011. After this date a $150.00 tuition credit is issued which may be applied to a future IPGE Program within one year of the date of issue. All refund requests must be made in writing or by email to: ipgeseminars@ipge.com. If IPGE cancels the program, a full refund is provided unless the cancellation is due to a natural or man made disaster (fire, flood, acts of war or terrorism, strikes, or any other situation out of the immediate control of IPGE). In this event, a voucher is issued valid for the full amount paid for the program and applicable to any future program within two years of the date of cancellation. IPGE assumes no responsibility for penalty fees imposed by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers. Since all cancellations are caused by unforeseen events, trip cancellation insurance is available through ICS Travel, Inc. We highly recommend this option.

Full Refund Assurance Plan

Since all cancellations are caused by unforeseen events, IPGE offers a tuition refund assurance plan.  For a non-refundable fee of $35.00, IPGE will waive all refund restrictions and provide a full refund of fees paid until one day before the seminar begins (Thursday, April 22, 2010). This waiver must be purchased at the time of registration and cannot be be purchased after April 5, 2011.
