
Presents: Current Thinking in Anesthesia for the CRNA

Program Description This continuing education program offers the anesthesia practitioner an opportunity to update and reinforce knowledge in the current thinking associated with trauma and anesthesia management. Core didactic lectures will be offered that will enable the learner to gain insight into the management of anesthesia in varied situations. These include preventing anesthesia related blindness; deciding upon appropriate fluid management; applying new airway adjuncts and preventing fires in the operating room. Registrants will have an opportunity to update knowledge on the mechanisms of trauma, dealing with allergy and anaphylaxis, managing the traumatized pregnancy patient and a review of the pharmacology of resuscitative drugs and avoiding common drug errors in anesthesia. The program also offers with discussions of ARDS, Trauma to the Spinal Cord, Abdomen and Thorax, and an update on polycystic disease and concerns with pediatric trauma. A presentation of unusual cases and their management will be offered and participants are invited to discuss interesting cases in which they participated.

Refund Policy A full refund less $150.00 application processing fee may be obtained if notice of cancellation is received in writing or by Email (ipgeseminars@ipge.com) no later than January 7, 2010. After this date a $150.00 credit will be issued which may be applied to another IPGE program within one year of the date of cancellation. No refunds are made after the program begins. If IPGE cancels the program, a full refund will be provided unless cancellation forced by a natural or man-made disaster (fire, flood, earthquake, strike, acts of God, war or terrorism, or any other cause beyond IPGE's control.) In this event a full value voucher valid for two years from date of issue is awarded. In addition, an attempt will be made to reschedule the program within a reasonable time period.
Tuition Refund Guarantee Plan For a fee of $35.00 IPGE will waive all refund restrictions until the day before the seminar begins.
