The Program

A Continuing Education Program offering a "Hands-On" Workshop demonstrating the applications of ultrasound guidance
for regional block techniques and a "Hand's-On" workshop on Recognition and Management of the Difficult Airway
including the latest adjuncts for facilitating establishment of a difficult airway.

Ultrasound guidance is considered by many to be the future standard of care for regional anesthesia
and the ability to manage a difficult airway is the standard of care for CRNA's in clinical practice.

Didactic lectures will focus on Pharmacology, Anatomy, and Techniques for Regional Blocks of the Upper and Lower Extremity, Knee and Ankle.
Discussions of Airway Anatomy, Pathology, Interventional Methodology and the ASA Difficult Airway Algorithm.

There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers during the workshops and discussion sessions.
