An Anesthesia Review and Clinical Update June 25-27, 2010

It will provide up to date information concerning anesthetic management of the elderly, managing renal compromise, understanding the complexities of CHF, preventing aspiration, reducing the risk of perioperative stroke, care of the alcohol abuser, anesthesia for robotic prostate surgery, evidenced based medicine and the medical consult, the debate concerning the DNP degree for CRNA's, who should provide pre-operative evaluation, the importance of good record maintenance, do's and don'ts of dealing with an untoward event, developments in the prevention and treatment of DVT and a review of inhalant drug pharmacology.
10 minutes of each lecture period will be devoted to questions and answers and a discussion period concludes each daily session. Program Faculty
