HTML clipboardThis seminar has been designed to meet the needs of practicing nurse anesthetists. It will provide up to date information concerning anesthetic management of the elderly, managing renal compromise, understanding the complexities of CHF, preventing aspiration, reducing the risk of perioperative stroke, care of the alcohol abuser, anesthesia for robotic prostate surgery, evidenced based medicine and the medical consult, the debate concerning the DNP degree for CRNA's, who should provide pre-operative evaluation, the importance of good record maintenance, do's and don'ts of dealing with an untoward event, developments in the prevention and treatment of DVT and a review of inhalant drug pharmacology.

10 minutes of each lecture period will be devoted to questions and answers and a discussion period concludes each daily session.

Refund Policy

A full refund less $150.00 application processing fee may be obtained until June 15, 2010. After this date a $150.00 tuition credit will be issued which may be applied to a future IPGE program within one year of the date of cancellation. All cancellation requests must be made in writing or by Email to: ipgeseminars@ipge.com. If IPGE cancels the program, a full refund will be provided unless cancellation is due to a natural or man-made disaster (fires, flood, earthquake, weather, strikes, acts of God, war or terrorism, or any other cause out of the sponsors control). In this event, a full value tuition-free voucher valid for a minimum of  two years from date of issue is provided. In addition, an attempt will be made to re-schedule the program within a reasonable time period. IPGE assumes no responsibility for penalty fees imposed by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers.

Refund Assurance/Protection Plan

For a non-refundable fee of $35.00 IPGE will waive all refund restrictions and provide a full refund until the day before the program begins (Thursday, June 24, 2010). This waiver must be purchased at time of registration and no later than June 15, 2010. Please check this option on your mail or internet application or ask the registrar to include it if you reserve by telephone. We highly recommend that you consider purchasing this protection option.
