PROGRAM DESCIPTION A continuing education program designed to update the CRNA practitioner in a variety of contemporary topics of current interest. The program will offer core didactic lectures which will explore questions related to Employment Contracts, Malpractice Law and Preparation for Deposition. The challenges posed by geriatric patients will be discussed with emphasis on the physiological differences caused by normal aging, the problems of cognitive dysfunction and maintaining normothermia and some pearls for geriatric care presented from the experiences of a world renowned expert in gerontology. The program continues with an update on some current thinking in the management of pediatric patients and concludes with a review of several topics of clinical interest. There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers during open forum sessions scheduled daily.

A full refund less $150.00 application processing fee may be obtained until October 31, 2010. After this date a $150.00 tuition credit will be issued which may be applied to a future IPGE program within one year of the date of cancellation. All cancellation requests must be made in writing or by Email to: ipgeseminars@ipge.com. If IPGE cancels the program, a full refund will be provided unless cancellation is due to a natural or man-made disaster (fires, flood, earthquake, weather, strikes, acts of God, war or terrorism, or any other cause out of the sponsors control). In this event, a full value tuition-free voucher valid for a minimum of two years from date of issue is provided. In addition, an attempt will be made to re-schedule the program within a reasonable time period. IPGE assumes no responsibility for penalty fees imposed by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers.
