A Review of Current Thinking in Anesthesia
Course Description This seminar has been designed to meet the needs of practicing CRNA's. It will provide an opportunity to update, review and reinforce knowledge in a variety of topics of contemporary clinical interest. Lectures will range from hot to the administer "fast-track" anesthesia to management of the difficult airway. Attendees will be offered an opportunity to gain insight into the management of such problems as malignant hyperthermia, control of perioperative pain, and options for dealing with hypertension and maintaining normothermia. The program will also focus on current thinking on the pharmacological aspects of preventing and treating PONV, providing adequate intravenous sedation, dealing with herbal medications, coagulopathies and administering newer adjunctive drugs. Ample time is allowed for discussion, questions, and answers.

Refund Policy If you cancel, a full refund less $150.00 application processing fee may be obtained if notice of cancellation is received in writing or by Email (ipgeseminars@ipge.com) no later than June 30, 2010. After this date a $150.00 credit will be issued which may be applied to another IPGE program within one year of the date of cancellation. No refund after the course begins. If we (IPGE) cancels, a full refund will be provided unless cancellation is due to a natural or man-made disaster (fire, flood, earthquake, weather, strikes, acts of war or terrorism, or any other cause beyond IPGE's control.) In this event neither of us is at fault and a tuition-free voucher valid for a minimum of two years from date of issue is awarded. In addition, an attempt will be made to reschedule the program within a reasonable time period. IPGE assumes no responsibility for penalty fees imposed by the cruise line, airlines, hotels, or other suppliers.
Tuition Refund Guarantee Plan For a non-refundable fee of $35.00 IPGE will waive all refund restrictions until the day before the seminar begins. To purchase this option, check the appropriate box on your application form (or on the web page if registering on line) and add $35.00 to your tuition fee. This option is available at the time of registration until (but not after) June 30, 2010. We highly recommend that you give serious consideration to protecting your tuition fee since all cancellations are caused by unforeseen circumstances. Transfer of Registration If you find it necessary to cancel your registration, you may find it more cost effective to transfer to another IPGE program instead. IPGE permits a ONE TIME transfer to any course offered within one year of the original course starting date. Transfers are made at a fee of $75.00.
