Program Description

A continuing education seminar designed to update the participant in several areas of clinical anesthesia practice. Included among these will be core didactic lectures which will provide the attendee with information on recent developments in techniques for awake intubation, the role of the CRNA in preventing surgical infections, guidelines for blood transfusion, dealing with stress and substance abuse among professionals and update on the current issues facing the AANA.

The Friday AM sessions are devoted to presentations on managing the patient with cardiac disease, dealing with the problems associated with advanced age, consideration for providing safe anesthesia in an office based setting for plastic surgery. Discussion in this session will also focus on the ethical side of anesthesia practice.

The program also offers an update on the applications of trans-esophageal echocardiography, Bio-terrorism, HIV and other Blood Borne Diseases, Selecting appropriate ventilation parameters and modes, and managing anesthesia for lung surgery.

Ample time is reserved for audience interaction.

Refund Policy and FAQ's

 

If you must cancel, a full refund less $150.00 application processing fee may be obtained if notice of cancellation is received in writing or by Email (ipgeseminars@ipge.com) no later than May 6, 2013. After this date no refunds are issued. If IPGE cancels the program, a full refund will be provided unless cancellation is due to a natural or man-made disaster ( fire, flood, earthquake, weather, strikes, terrorism, or any other cause beyond IPGE's control.) In this event neither of us is at fault and a tuition-free voucher valid for a minimum of two years from date of issue is awarded. In addition, an attempt will be made to reschedule the program within a reasonable time period. IPGE assumes no responsibility for penalty fees imposed by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers.
 

REFUND ASSURANCE PLAN

Since ALL cancellations we receive are caused by unforeseen events, IPGE offers our registrants a REFUND ASSURANCE PLAN. For a non-refundable fee of $35.00 IPGE will waive all refund restrictions and provide a full refund until the program begins. Must be purchased at time of registration.
